We’ll start meeting on Friday, September 11 through December 11, at Bestsellers Books and Cafe in Mason, from 4 to 6 PM. There’s lots of room for social distancing, and we’ll wear masks. If the weather’s nice, we can go outside.
Our topics this fall will start out with “How do you know someone is really a friend?” We’ll work our way through topics that help us think about what it means to be safe, to have a friend, to decide that someone isn’t a good friend anymore.
We’ll keep meeting every Friday except Nov. 20 (Lansing Silver Bells) and the Friday after Thanksgiving, Nov. 27. I won’t be able to meet on September 18, but the group can get together if one or more parents agree to stay for the participants that come. There may be one or two other Fridays that will work the same way.
